Chances Of Qualification For The European Championships

Cyprus have never qualified for a major international football tournament, qualification for both the World Cup and European Championships has always been a step too far. It was only 2010 when Cyprus gained their best ever FIFA ranking of 43 but they have falled around 50 places since then which is some fall in a relatively short space of time and there is nothing to suggest that Cyprus will be competitive in any qualification group any time soon.
