Germany look extremely strong heading into Euro 2012 after winning all ten qualifying games and Holland don't look quite in the same class as Germany but they should certainly be better than Portugal and Denmark as Portugal finished behind Denmark in their group but made it through the playoffs, showing they are not as strong as many think.

The bookies probably have it right that Holland are the third best team in the tournament and the only teams capable of beating Holland may be the two favourites Spain and Germany. Klaas Jan Huntelaar has really seized the initiative in the past couple of seasons and stepped up to the plate of being Holland's main goalscorer in the absence of Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Huntelaar was Holland's top scorer in qualifying for some distance with twelve goals and that record made him the top scorer in all of qualifying for any team.
