BACK 2-0 HOLLAND AND HOLLAND TO WIN TO NIL

This was the scoreline when these teams met two years ago and there are many reasons for thinking we should be in for a very similar scoreline. Holland were quite an open team in qualifying but their goals for ratio was exaggerated by scoring sixteen goals in two games against San Marino. Holland kept six clean sheets in qualifying and won six games to nil. Denmark didn't have a great scoring record in qualifying scoring less than two goals a game on average, not very good for a team who won the group and this is because they don't have an out and out goalscorer, no Danish player scored more than three times in qualifyng and unless Denmark get really lucky we probably won't see them score. Meanwhile Denmark only conceded six times in eight games in qualifying and it is worth noting they conceded four goals in two games against the best team in their group, Portugal. BACK KLAAS JAN-HUNTELAAR TO SCORE FIRST AND ANYTIME AGAINST DENMARK

With Denmark not expected to score in this match it really narrows down the goalscorer options in this match but there are still plenty of Holland players capable of getting on the scoresheet. Robin Van Persie will be many people's choice but he can often be played out wide for Holland and he only actually scored in three out of six qualifiers he played in. Even Dirk Kuyt had a slightly better ratio of scoring in games but no one had a better record than Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who not only scored twelve goals in eight games but also got on the scoresheet in seven of those matches.
